Guitar legend Michael Schenker celebrates the 50th anniversary of his time with UFO live on tour!

By joining UFO at the end of 1973, the then 18-year-old Michael Schenker contributed significantly to the international mega-success of the British rock band and rose from a "German wunderkind" to one of the most renowned guitarists of our time, who continues to influence entire generations of musicians worldwide with his legendary guitar playing.

During his time with UFO from 1974-1978, known as the "Schenker era", Michael Schenker released five groundbreaking studio albums such as "Lights Out" (1977) or "Phenomenon" (1974) and the live album "Strangers In The Night" (Live in Chicago 1978), which is still considered groundbreaking today, and is jointly responsible for worldwide hits such as "Doctor Doctor", "Rock Bottom" or "Only You Can Rock Me".

Michael Schenker is not only celebrating the 50th anniversary of his time with UFO with reissues of the best UFO songs of the era with many guest stars on recordings, but is also embarking on another major European tour with his backing band in 2026.

Due to the massive success of the "My Years With UFO" tour at the beginning of 2025, Michael Schenker will embark on the second round from February 2026 - be there when the timeless classics take you on a journey into the past again!
