Midissage - Erold Sommer - Live in Farbe - Mit den Bands RADAR + ORA BLU

"Live in Color" is a process-based, modular exhibition in which painting is created in direct resonance with live music and is continuously transformed. Past live paintings meet new performances and create an urban space between intuition, choreography and multimedia condensation. The exhibition is not a static format, but a living system that continues to grow through each artistic encounter.

In a collaborative multimedia performance, painter Erold Sommer meets musicians. While the bands are enclosed in construction fences, the silhouettes of the performers are depicted, driven by the musical impulses. At the end of the performance, the sound of the bands echoes on a cotton screen.

RADAR, the rock-pop band from the capital, have shown with their first 3 EPs what they think of pigeonholing. Since its foundation in 2020, it has earned a reputation as a live show striker and proves with its musical diversity that it is declaring war on musical boredom.

ORA BLU is a Berlin alt-pop band inspired by "ora blu", the Italian term for the mystical "blue hour".
Listening to ORA BLU is like being on a road trip at dawn, on the rooftop of a big city in the evening or on a balmy summer night in Berlin. ORA BLU's music is inspired by artists such as Tom Misch, Bonobo, the XX and FKJ, yet the result is unmistakably their own.
