Mind Enterprises: Creative Part of the New-Wave Electronic Funk Movement

Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe of producer Andrea Tirone, who grew up in Turin. Inspired by the bubbly, synth-driven Italo sound of the 80s, groovy disco basslines, hypnotic drum patterns and keyboard odysseys define Mind Enterprises' sound. Tirone considers his ever-growing collection of vintage synthesizers a palette of colors, or an orchestra of artists, because "each individual machine has a distinctive sound unique to that machine."

Together with his musical partner Roberto Conigliaro, who shares Andreas' 80s fashion taste, he has taken Italo Disco to the world and the clubs. The two have accompanied the great Australian indie-electro-pop band Confidence Man on their tour of the UK and played festivals in Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The duo, in addition to their ongoing synth live action, are working ceaselessly on new material and we look forward to the results.
