Mirna Funk, born in 1981 in East Berlin, studied philosophy and now works as an author and freelance journalist for the FAZ, SZ and Die ZEIT, among others. Her monthly sex column has appeared in Cosmopolitan since 2021 and from 2018 to 2020 she wrote about Jewish life for Vogue online. Her debut novel "Winternähe" was awarded the Uwe Johnson Prize, and her non-fiction book "Who Cares" was an instant bestseller. Mirna Funk lives in Berlin and Tel Aviv.
