Mischpoke is a Hamburg-based klezmer band that has now gained a Europe-wide audience. And anyone who experiences the exciting performance of these five strong artistic personalities will clearly sense that this band has found its own sound: "Klezmer High Life"!
Their music is a highly varied mix of traditional, newly arranged and self-composed pieces, exploring the interplay of genres between klezmer, jazz, tango, world music and classical music. Whether small stages or large concert halls, whether Hamburg's Weinbistro, international festivals or Berlin's Philharmonie: their passionate and highly virtuoso playing always creates this collective energy that sets hearts and hips vibrating.
