MissVergnügen presents TONIA REEH – live

In the organizer's words:
Tonia Reeh, Berlin's indie underground enfant terrible, brings her dirty indie folk to Eschschloraque: acoustic guitar, rough vocals - dirty, raw, with hard stories, anti-fascist, intimate.
With a long musical history ranging from indie post-rock to electrotrash, piano punk, revolutionary flamenco and film music (Masonne, das zuckende Vakuum, Jagoda, Monotekktoni, La Tourette), formerly at home on labels such as Monika, Sinnbus, Clouds Hill or Solaris Empire, she is now back DIY and solo under her real name.
She plays songs from her current album "Blues Babies" and other original gems: Small, to the point stories - feminist, anarchist, sad, poetic and presumptuously cheeky. Always on the side of the crooked, the exploited: Women, rhinos, children, octahedrons, homeless people, migrants, guitars, losers and sex workers.
"You better keep your tongue inside your mouth!"
"I'm sure you don`t want to support the war lords."
The concert is part of the MissVergnügen presents series, which repeatedly creates a home for underground enfants terribles. The Berlin musician and DJ MissVergnügen has a long history of shaping Berlin's artistic counterculture, for example as resident DJ at Bar 23, in performances and short film productions with the artist group Vendetta or collaborations with bands such as Gpunkt Effekt, Animal Cops or Stan & Laura. As a musician and DJ, she has also performed in the "self-proclaimed" Garage, the "Waffengalerie", in the backyard of the infamous "Eimer" and in the "King-Kong-Klub". Since 2006, she has been giving the Eschschloraque Rümschrümp artists' club its audacity and giving creative resistance a voice - loud and live at MissVergnügen presents.
