The "MidsummerRemise" in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern invites you to spend a whole weekend on June 20 and 21 enjoying the summer countryside. Around 80 manor houses, manor houses, castles and palaces open their doors with their own individual programs. Look forward to insights into the newly blossoming cultural heritage of the manor houses and manor houses in the hinterland of the Baltic Sea. The listed manor houses line the landscape like pearls on a necklace. They are shining witnesses to centuries of history and are linked by epochs, people and destinies. Stroll along new cultural routes in the countryside. Get to know lords and ladies of the manor and learn more about more than 400 years of history.

Stroll through parks and explore ruins or beautifully renovated houses. Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of a balmy summer evening against the backdrop of this cultural beacon of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. There are guided tours of the house and park, sound experiences and exhibitions. An eclectic mix of stories, history and culture awaits you. At the MidsummerRemise, you will gain insights behind the facades of the listed manor houses and talk to the people who breathe new life into these old places. Ruins, privately used estates or manor houses used as hotels open their doors and gates.
