SENDER EMPFÄNGER is the name of the solo album by Michael Kröger a.k.a möbelkröger, which was recorded entirely on his own. Most of the sounds were created with electric guitar, much of it alienated, deconstructed and reassembled, played backwards or in freeze mode. A keyboard is used sparingly, drum patterns and drum machines, but also an espresso machine in descaling mode at 167 bpm. Acoustic instruments were deliberately omitted. möbelkröger will present the album live with his band.

Despite their kraut affinity, the Monostars shone on earlier albums mainly with new wave clarity and even power pop tidiness. On their new album "Alles wollen, nichts müssen" ("Everything wants, nothing has to"), there is slithering and grind, warts and hums, hums and hollers behind the synth bed and under the guitar board, so that the sound space can grow into a veritable creepy castle with a cheerful drone.
