In the organizer's words:

To the theater on a Monday night? No question about it! We are looking forward to continuing the "Monday Shorts", where artists and employees present specially designed programs on our small but beautiful stage in the theater restaurant. There will be plays, songs and readings. There are joint events with other Lübeck cultural institutions as well as improv shows, readings and quirky performances. The ever-popular "Kostproben" will also continue to sail under this flag: during the premiere week, we give an insight into our rehearsals and the directing teams talk about their concepts. And the same applies in future: admission is free.

December

Cabaret artist Hanns Dieter Hüsch would have turned one hundred years old in 2025 and actor Andreas Hutzel and musician Willy Daum commemorate the all-round genius on 01/12 with a program of texts and music. On 08/12, the team behind the production "WTF?!" will present the scenes that did not make it into the musical play development. On 15/12 Will Workman and Sven Simon take over the Monday Shorts: chaos and laughter guaranteed! And just before the holidays, we present a classic of English Christmas literature: Charles Dickens' Christmas story.

January

The Monday Shorts start the new year on 12/01 with stories from Norse mythology, edited with a lot of humor by our stage manager and Scandinavian studies expert Anna Utech: The focus is on the character Loki and his return in modern pop culture. A milestone in modern pop culture - so to speak - is coming up on 19/01: It's hard to believe, but we're already celebrating the 100th Monday Shorts episode with our acting all-stars and thanking you, the Monday Shorts audience, with a colorful program! And on 26/01, we take a look into the future: will it be as bleak as all the dystopias would have us believe, or are there also positive, solution-oriented visions for our world?
