Based on the right-wing extremist attack on the Liverpool discotheque in Munich's Schillerstraße by the right-wing terrorist group Ludwig in 1984, the staged reading by author and director Christiane Mudra focuses on elitist entitlement, reactionary moral constructs and right-wing extremist men's fantasies of punishment.
The evening draws a connection to the misogynistic subculture of the 'incels' (involuntary celibates) and sheds light on the self-valorization of the perpetrators and the staging of violence in the digital space. After the performance, Christiane Mudra will talk to journalist and author Susanne Kaiser about the digital subculture of the 'incels' and radicalization online.
