In the organizer's words:
There are bands that simply maintain their legacy. And then there’s MOTHERS CAKE. For this Austrian trio, standing still is not an option. Every album marks a new step, a consistent evolution. After the success of “Ultra Bliss,” it would have been natural to continue down the same path—but that’s precisely not in the band’s DNA.
Since their debut “Creation’s Finest,” created in collaboration with Ikey Owens (The Mars Volta, Jack White), MOTHERS CAKE have made a name for themselves internationally. They’ve shared the stage with Deftones, Iggy Pop, Limp Bizkit, Alice in Chains, and Deep Purple; played sold-out shows in Australia, Mexico, South Africa, and India; and reached a global audience with millions of streams as well as appearances in films, TV, and video games.
With their sixth studio album,*WE R ALL GONNA DIE*(release date: October 9, 2026, via Esis3-RECORDS), MOTHERS CAKE are now opening the next chapter. The sound is more direct, raw, and uncompromising than ever before—driven by punk energy and stripped of all excess.
The first single, “We Are All Gonna Die”(release date: May 7, 2026), is the statement of this new phase. It embodies the courage to leave expectations behind and redefine their own sound. WE R ALL GONNA DIEis not just another Mothers Cake album—it’s the uncompromising sound of a band ready to tear everything down in order to reinvent itself.
The trio TEMENGGONG bringsstoner, blues rock, doom, psychedelic, and proto-metalto the stage—very loud, with plenty of intensity (and improvisation).
This lineup—Kyuss, Hendrix, Elektrohasch, Sabbath, Soft Machine, Cream, Can, and Coltrane—has influenced the three musicians for over 10 years and sparked heated debates among them. Now it’s time for it all to come together.
