Moving Bodies - Night of Short Pieces

For the past three years, the festival team led by Anja Kozik, Veronica Lillo, and Zenia Argyri has been dedicated to the power of dance as a form of expression, connection, and exchange. What has long since become a cherished tradition on Schiffbauergasse returns again this summer: the Oxymoron Dance Company’s dance spectacle on the lake stage at Tiefen See.

This year, too, we’re opening the stage to young international dancers and choreographers. The Moving Bodies festival presents diverse artistic perspectives and forms of expression—encounters, shifts in perspective, and the exchange of a wide variety of ideas.

Through dance, a space is created that inspires, encourages, and is characterized by mutual respect.

With the “Night of Short Pieces,” the festival creates a stage for short choreographic works by young international artists. In compact performances, dancers and choreographers present their latest works. The format allows for experimental approaches, fosters artistic exchange, and offers emerging artists visibility within a professional festival setting.
