Green office, event venue and workshop space; the new mobile sustainability office at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts combines all of this.
As part of her bachelor's thesis, Marie Gowert designed and extended the construction trailer to meet all the requirements of the space.
The result is a mobile and flexible furniture system that can be adapted as required.

Waste makes furniture - the circular economy at your fingertips using the example of waste wood

What potential does the circular economy offer? Karoline Marx from Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts explored this question from a design perspective in her bachelor's project. The result is a piece of furniture made from reclaimed wood that combines the function of an exhibition space with the aesthetics of a piece of home furniture. You are invited to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts of the circular economy, discover its principles in the piece of furniture and adopt alternative perspectives.
