For Jazz Week, we present the Müller&Mahall quartet, which performs collections of arrangements of the finest selected material and pieces from the bop and jazz tradition in a modern style and contemporary arrangement. Benjamin Lehmann (represented by Rodolfo Paccapelo) and Uli Jenneßen are recommended for the rough dirty work on bass and drums. This form of sophisticated jazz is designed and played in the contemporary Berlin style: inimitably sexy and clever. In addition to creating musical delights, the band also sees itself as an illuminator of the historically under-observed conglomerate of "music, the inner struggle and fashion, the outer presentation".
