Multi – Eine Geschichte am Flutgraben / A Story about a Borderline

The Sprewanians are back!
In August, this special species will once again tell the story of the multi-purpose hall on Kreuzberg's Flutgraben. Because this building has it all: no other building protruded so far into the death strip during the Wall era. Time and again, people tried to escape from the factory building to the West. After each escape operation, the building was sealed off and the surveillance of the employees there was tightened further.
But the Sprewanians also know the other side of this area: the once swampy marshland around the Flutgraben became a Berlin amusement park as early as the 19th century, a tradition that continues to this day. The Sprewanians, who adapt optimally to all social and urban changes at all times, move skillfully and with a great deal of humour between these opposites in a multilingual, multi-perspective and multimedia performance by the OfW collective.
