Do you feel like getting out and about, but a typical stroll through the city just doesn’t seem like enough? Then here’s a tip for Münster: a self-guided scavenger hunt on your smartphone—starting from the square in front of the city library and winding through Münster’s Old Town, featuring the cathedral, the Prinzipalmarkt, and many other highlights.
You’ll dive into a story: Jeremias is missing just one ingredient for his magic potion—the elixir that will allow him to travel through time. You’ll only discover what that ingredient is by solving a series of tricky puzzles. For each ingredient, the secret society of time travelers has created its own puzzle trail, and this is exactly where you come in: You’ll decipher documents written in a secret language, answer mysterious questions, and find your way to the next stop using cryptic directions. Each puzzle challenges your brain in a different way. Jeremias will show you the city’s sights along the way and loves to tell funny—but always true—stories.
The concept is simple: You book, are ready to go immediately, and start whenever you want—the rally can be played around the clock (preferably during daylight hours) and is valid for three years. Everything is self-guided on your smartphone, with no guide required. The game lasts about 120 minutes, is played by groups of 2 or more people, and is recommended for ages 14 and up and for adults. According to feedback from other players, the difficulty level is moderate. And if something comes up: You can cancel your booking for free up until the start time.
The tour is both at once—a guided city tour with fascinating facts about the city’s history and fun trivia at each stop, and an outdoor escape game with puzzles and challenges at each stop.

Whether with friends, classmates, or the whole family: Bring your team and compete against each other—whoever solves the puzzles the fastest and needs the fewest helpful hints scores the most points. The square in front of the city library is centrally located, easily accessible by public transportation, and offers plenty of space even for larger groups.
