Six days of live music on Münsterplatz!

With the Münsterplatz concerts from Tue, June 4 - Sun, June 9, 2024, Freiburg's popular landmark will be enveloped in musical sounds.

Leading concert organizers from Freiburg want to expand the range of art and culture on offer in the city centre and have therefore launched the Münsterplatzkonzerte in 2023.

Singers such as Peter Fox, Joris and Peter Maffay thrilled over 15,000 visitors in the first year of the event and transformed Münsterplatz into a concert backdrop that every guest will remember for six days in the sunny evening hours .

Once again this year, six wonderful days full of live music await you on Münsterplatz!

Artists such as Montez, Fritz Kalkbrenner, James Hype, Ronan Keating, Parov Stelar and Meute invite you to transform Münsterplatz into an unforgettable party location.
If you prefer it quieter, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Freiburg Theater Opera Choir or the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra will conjure up harmonious sounds for you while you round off the balmy summer night with a glass of wine.

The aim of the Münsterplatz concerts is to offer a broad program, which is why each day of the event leans in a different direction - from rock, pop and electro to classical music, there is something for every taste.
A significant part of this event is of course the unique scenery. The monumental character of Freiburg Cathedral, paired with the different sounds of the Münsterplatz concerts, creates a unique atmosphere in the heart of the city center.
