Museumsfest - Bergisches Museum Bensberg

Have you ever been to our museum festival? Then it’s about time! On this day, you can look forward to a colorful mix of hands-on activities, history you can experience firsthand, and plenty of fun for the whole family.

Our volunteer craftspeople will show you how people used to work: spinning, weaving, wheelwrighting—here you can watch old techniques up close and try your hand at them yourself. In the farm garden, you can make herbal salt together or do crafts and sewing as a group. 

Brand new this year: a virtual tour of our visitor tunnel, which is unfortunately closed at the moment. Join a former miner underground and experience what his daily work was like back in the day.

And of course, refreshments will be provided: coffee and cake, hearty snacks, and cold drinks await you. We look forward to seeing you!
