Musical "The little day" by Gerhard Meyer
with the children's choirs of the Christuskirche - direction & piano: Eva Schad
In the firmament behind the stars live the many different "days". Every day, one of them comes down to earth. However, each day is only allowed to do this once. On earth, they experience a wide variety of things such as war and peace, inventions and discoveries and much more. The "little day" also wants to finally come down to earth and be a very special day, because they are allowed to sit in the front row at the evening assembly in the firmament. While he spends the long wait in the kingdom of light wandering around, he meets the "mysterious day". He cannot decide whether it was a good or a bad day, as it was on his day that the lens was invented, but also the telescopic sight with which people kill each other. He tries to explain to the "little day" that it is not important to be in the front row, but that it is only important to be yourself. Finally, the "little day" is allowed to travel through a star hole to the human world. The audience can find out what he will experience there in the musical "Der kleine Tag".
