In the more than thirty years of its existence, the Big Band HAVA NICE DAY has already become an "institution" at TU Dortmund University!
Rehearsals are held regularly on Tuesdays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the studio stage at Emil-Figge-Straße 50. The repertoire is wide-ranging, from swing (Count Basie and others) to rock and blues to Latin.

HAVA NICE DAY aims to promote interaction and enjoyment of music, to deal with a wide variety of styles, to develop a program without stress and to perform as often as possible. A rehearsal weekend each semester not only deepens musical understanding among the members. Martin Scheer is the musical director.
