Soulbound are certainly not a band that would have made it into Dieter Bohlen's or Heidi Klum's re-call, instead they prefer to take matters into their own hands. Their first albums "Towards the Sun" (2012) and "Myllennium" (2016) were recorded independently and laid the foundation for their musical journey. The collaboration with Chris Harms from Lord of the Lost was a turning point and led to the creation of their groundbreaking album "Addicted To Hell" in 2020. When trying to categorize Soulbound into a musical genre, they are often compared to genres such as gothic rock or industrial metal. However, if you ask the guys, they say: we make "wedontgiveafuckmetal", the main thing is that it bangs and is fun.

The corona crisis hit the music world hard, but Soulbound used this phase to break new ground. By streaming on Twitch, they built a strong and active community and presence and strengthened their name at a time when the live music scene was at a standstill. After the pandemic, Soulbound returned to the stages with a rousing energy. They accompanied bands such as Hell Boulevard, Heldmaschine, Harpyie, Mono Inc. and Erdling on their tours and proved their live qualities at renowned festivals such as Metal Hammer Paradise, WGT, Plage Noire, Rockharz, Lordfest and others. Over the last few years, they have played their way into the hearts of their fans. They always remain approachable without developing any rock star airs and graces. The group is characterized by their down-to-earth attitude and humanity. Their fans appreciate Soulbound for their closeness, openness and honest statements. The band does not shy away from addressing serious topics such as the stigmatization of mental illness or making clear statements against discrimination and exclusion.
