An interactive, interplanetary court show with the richest man in the world
Elon Musk has made his dream come true and is the first man to land on Mars. But instead of being able to terraform the planet to his liking with no strings attached, he first has to face some questions in the Martian Immigration Court, which quickly become quite unpleasant for him.
No matter how much the Muskonaut sells his unbounded and authoritarian ideas of freedom as 'liberal': The 'host society Mars' - the audience - scrutinizes every newcomer to the utmost.
With the help of earth tweets, Musk is interrogated about his career to date, accusations from Grünheide and California are put on the table and have to be tested against the extraterrestrial concept of freedom. Using pop music, AI fantasies and twisted promises, the intruder attempts to defend his claims to power on the supposedly freely available terrain of Mars.
In the end, the audience decides:
Will Elon Musk get a right to stay on Mars? And if so - under what conditions?
Hilarious and bitterly serious at the same time, the play deals with concepts of freedom from the right and our own options for action in post-democratic times.
The performance on March 22 will be offered with German surtitles for people with hearing impairments.
