The FLINTA*Lieder reading stage with a future

What do you wish for? What visions do you have for a better world? What could an equal future look like?

The Leipzig song scene presents: Leipzig's first FLINTA*Lieder reading stage! Masha Potempa & Marsha Richarz want to get to the bottom of the pressing questions of our time and draw a fairer future together with the audience. Stars of the song scene will talk about their perspectives and wishes. Of course, there will also be plenty of music and word fireworks:

BELQIS stands for melancholic alt-pop with poetic language and an atmosphere that oscillates between intimacy and wild energy. Their songs mix clear vocals with edgy arrangements to create an unconventional, intense sound full of contrasts.
Live, BELQIS impresses with a strong presence, intelligent lyricism and moments that are immediately touching without becoming cheesy. Their shows are emotional, dynamic and surprisingly intense.

As hosts, two strong voices from the Leipzig scene have joined forces to keep the ma(r)sha quota higher than the male quota for once. They know how to sensitively pour both personal and social issues into words and music and garnish them with a pinch of madness, for which they have already received several awards:

Marsha Richarz is an author, stage poet, presenter and much more. She performs texts about life, feminism, body images and wimps. She manages to interweave politically relevant topics with everyday observations and situations in a humorous, charming and satirical way.

Masha Potempa exudes a quiet humor and then immediately hits you with her poetry. With a warm voice, acting talent and keen powers of observation, she maneuvers through the emotional worlds and tensions of everyday life and sensitively stays on course and on edge.

As the evening progresses, courage is required and things get exciting - a surprise guest from the audience is allowed to take the stage! And the audience is given the opportunity to use their wishes and visions of the future to directly influence the theme of the next evening and the new texts and songs that are created for it.
