Who is this woman? How well does she know me? And how well do we know our mothers? And why is everything always the way it is?

Inspired by Michèle Roten's Wie Mutter sein and pop songs from the 80s to the present day , Mütter in drei Akten dares to take a playful approach to our being-in-the-world. Through the relationship with our mothers, our social approach to trust, contact, grief, loneliness and friendship is explored on stage and looked at more closely: What are our individual experiences, what are our collective experiences and what is just pop.

A colorful evening of performance, original sound, video, karaoke and live music somewhere between couch and concert party. The audience is cordially invited to take part in this discussion about their own identity (no participatory theater!) or simply to make themselves comfortable with a piece of cake. Because as Kate Bush once sang: "Mother stands for Comfort" ... we'll see.
