Myth, power, museum: What happens when objects are supposed to speak but their historical voices are missing or suppressed?

Jeanne-Ange Wagne (art educator) and Bénédicte Savoy (art historian) discuss how object biographies reproduce colonial power relations, colonial collecting practices and ways of dealing responsibly with contested heritage. They will shed light on their research and the future of a museum that renegotiates remembrance.
