Abfallwirtschaft Stuttgart (AWS) invites you to the grand opening of its new facility in Stuttgart-Wangen on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors can explore the site at Gingener Straße 23 on guided tours led by staff, mingle over food and drinks, and get a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the city’s waste management operations.
There is no on-site parking available for visitors, but the facility is easily accessible via tram lines U9 and U13 (Wangen Marktplatz stop).
