This year, the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage is once again opening its doors for the long "Night of the Museums". Come along, get to know the exhibition and enjoy the musical program. 80 years after the "Day of Liberation", we ask: What do people want to free themselves from today, what boundaries do they want to overcome?
Pause and reflect on the period from the end of the war to the present day - we will discuss eight decades of remembrance culture with you and "Destinesia" will pose the following questions with their setting of "The Invincible" (Stanislaw Lem): What is the foreign? How do we face it? The German modern jazz quintet "Destinesia" uses the 1964 science fiction novel by Polish author Stanislaw Lem (1921 - 2006) as a framework for a different kind of book setting. Key passages from the novel are set to music and performed in German and Polish with the support of Polish jazz singer Anna Gadt. This concert will be visually framed by the Polish VJ (visual jockey) Karolina Jaceiwicz.
