The Leipzig night flea market on the agra site is a special meeting place for all those who prefer to start their day later or are most active at night. From the afternoon until late in the evening - from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. to be precise - you can browse, trade and discover to your heart's content. As the event takes place in the halls of the Messepark, there is a very special atmosphere, especially after dark, that you won't experience anywhere else in Leipzig: dawdling around while night falls outside and the lights flicker over the stands inside.

Once a month, the hall is transformed into a paradise for bargain hunters and collectors. For many Leipzig residents, the announcement posters in bright neon yellow are now among the first harbingers of the next flea market highlight. The night flea market has long been an integral part of the local flea market culture - an event that many people look forward to as soon as the first posters go up.

Over 200 stalls full of history

More than 200 traders offer a wide range of finds and special items: old dolls, records, graphics, crockery, furniture, grandma's embroidered table linen, children's clothes, toys and much more. You won't find any new goods here and that's exactly what makes it so charming. Each stall is a little time capsule filled with things that deserve a second chance.

Hunt for treasures or sell them yourself

If you have an overflowing cellar or attic, you can register here as a seller and take part. A table, a little patience and perhaps a hot cup of tea are all you need to pass on favorite items from the past to new owners. For many, sharing little memories about the lamp or old coat being sold is also a natural part of the experience.

A crowd puller for decades

Between 2,000 and 3,000 visitors stroll through the brightly lit agra halls on an event evening. The night flea market is not only one of the most popular markets in Leipzig, it is also the oldest night flea market in the whole of Saxony. Together with the antique market on the same site, it is one of the region's most important junk events and is a must for anyone who likes to rummage, collect or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
