The Nautilus Noir is anchored in the harbor of the English industrial metropolis of Ironhaven. The submarine, a marvel of technology, was designed for research trips and luxury tourism. But when one of the scientists disappears without a trace, private detective Victor Blackwell is called on board. What initially appears to be a harmless case quickly turns into a nightmare: the demons of his past haunt him right into the bowels of the Nautilus Noir and soon blur the boundaries between reality and madness.
