Mrs. Tausendschön had actually settled down nicely in her lethargy and had planned to doze off towards retirement with her little corona dog, her shrunken brain and her advanced obesity due to excessive pleasure cooking and bread baking. But it wasn't possible, because the delicious fountain of creativity was still flowing. Not as unconditionally and impetuously as usual, but in such a way that the artist's soul, torn apart by irrelevance, can bathe in satisfaction and joy.
What has humanity been doing for more than a year? The politicians, the amateur virologists, the cashiers, the footballers? They're all fussing about so much that it's a kind of a joke. And Nessi Tausendschön has joined in. She's even perfected the art of egging, nobody egges as beautifully and stage-ready as she does. Her topics include traffic islands, our language, equal rights, the planting of front gardens and tiresome politics. It is obvious how vulnerable we are and how much we depend on each other and how much we are shaken by our own shortcomings. It is said that the greatest crises often give rise to the most creative ideas. And so Mrs. Tausendschön has been sitting in the garden for two summers waiting for inspiration. A cactus blossom is so beautiful and beguiling because it was barren for a year beforehand.
And if you're sitting there at the end of the evening asking yourself: what was it all about? Perhaps this can be explained at this point, because Ms. Tausendschön can't. In the end, it's all about the oil, as every hairdresser, erh, deep fryer knows. What is certain is that you will say to yourself: Mrs. Tausendschön has made a dull evening green for me when I could have stayed at home. And if you still don't know what to expect: it will be funny. Maybe melancholy too. Just a good time.
Rheinische Post:
Nessi Tausendschön at her zenith
Anyone who has been on the cabaret scene for 30 years can claim to have hit a nerve with the audience.
This certainly applies to Nessi Tausendschön, who won over the audience in the Rheinberger Stadthalle with her mixture of expressive songs, the use of a singing saw and biting political commentary.
Main Post:
Nessi Tausendschön has been performing on cabaret stages for three decades with clever, profound and effective productions. In her new program - "30 Jahre Zenit - Operation Goldene Nase" - she allows herself a look back, whereby this is frighteningly topical and not only through her statements on Donald Trump or Alice Weidel or Merkel...
Kölner Stadtanzeiger:
"Yet the appeal of her performances lies in the harsh contrast between her lasciviously seductive looks and the relentless rage, her lucid beauty and the uninhibitedness with which she lashes out at everything that displeases her." "Nessi Tausendschön is like a volcano: sometimes fire-breathing, sometimes gently smoking - always unpredictable. She demonstrates that appearances are deceptive in ever new, varied outbursts. It's unbelievable what kind of turmoil this petite creature causes on stage, how she jumps from emotional moments to anarchic rage - with the full commitment of her ambiguous personality, never shying away from a break."
