Netz Macht Politik – Dein Netz, deine Regeln?
In the organizer's words:
The Internet Shapes Politics – Day of Action at the Wilhelmsburg Community Center
How can you protect yourself from hate speech, online violence, and cyberbullying? How can social media bring people together again instead of dividing them?
The internet can inform, connect, and be fun—but it can also be stressful, put people under pressure, and become a place of hate. That’s why the“The Internet Shapes Politics”action day at the Wilhelmsburg Community Center focuses on how we can better protect ourselves in the digital space, support one another, and help shape the internet together.
We’ll open our doors to everyone starting at 1:30 p.m.!
Look forward to workshops, discussions, exhibitions, and people who are committed to a better and more democratic internet. Among those participating are theRadikale Töchterwith their “Courage Muscle” workshop: 90 minutes of empowerment, taking a stand, and building courage.
You can also learn more about decentralized social networks likeMastodon and the Fediverseand discuss with others how we can shape digital spaces for our communities ourselves.
Throughout the afternoon, you can also explore the exhibitions, chat with various organizations, and take home new perspectives and ideas. And of course, there will be drinks and cake. 🍰
