In 2026, the Neukölln Art Prize will be awarded for the tenth time - a special occasion to celebrate the diversity, quality and experimentation of art in Neukölln!

On February 13 at 7 p.m., the nominees and award winners for the Neukölln Art Prize 2026 will be presented to the public at a festive ceremony at Heimathafen Neukölln. The award will be presented by Janine Wolter, District Councillor for Education, Culture and Sport in Neukölln. After the award ceremony Dr. Schock invites you to dance with a DJ set!

The exhibition with the nominated works in the Galerie im Saalbau is open on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 18:00 to 22:00.

With its large number of studios and art spaces, Neukölln is a lively and important location for the current art scene. The Department of Culture recognizes this fact with the annual awarding of the Neukölln Art Prize. In cooperation with Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln e.V. and STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH, outstanding artists from the Neukölln art scene are awarded a total of 6,000 euros (1st prize: 3,000 euros, 2nd prize: 2,000 euros, 3rd prize: 1,000 euros). STADT UND LAND also awards a special prize in the form of a purchase.

The works of the artists nominated by the six-member expert jury will be presented in a group exhibition in the Saalbau gallery. The exhibition offers visitors an authentic insight into the diversity of artistic production in Neukölln.
