New Norm Festival 2024

2024 will end with a special highlight: the first "New Norm Festival". We invite you, your friends, family, colleagues, sports fans and neighbors to join us. The festival's many program items are aimed at the entire urban community.

Tue, 22.10.: Cinema screening & talk: "Portrait of a young woman in flames" - the whole thing is running in cooperation with Pollux by Cineplex. Afterwards there will be a talk with the artist Rebekka Schulte and the New Norm initiators Lea Hansjürgen and Johanna Leifeld. Come along, it will be exciting!

Wed, 23.10.: Workshop "Connection":The workshop with Alina Gross and Vanessa Hitzfeld at the New Form Festival is based on old Renaissance paintings and uses a triangular shape (as in Delacroix 1830). The painting symbolizes the connection between the participants. In detail shots, bodies become abstract forms that appear strong and fragile at the same time.

The shoot lasts approx. 3-4 hours and will take place on Wednesday, October 23, in the Stadtmuseum Paderborn (workshop room). Come along!

Fri, 25.10.: New Norm Session: We paint nudes - naked! This is the last "New Norm" nude drawing session for this year, and everyone is invited to go nude!

Sat, 26.10. 10-12: Gallery Brunch: New Norm invites all former session participants to a clothed gallery networking brunch. We will meet in our exhibition in the Raum für Kunst at 10 am - 12 pm to share the crazy, relieving, exhilarating experiences.

Sun, 27.10.: "Les Fleurs" workshop: The "Les Fleurs" workshop with Alina Gross is all about self-love and self-acceptance. The participants choose flowers that cover their most intimate parts of the body and reflect their experiences. The aim is to come to terms with their own intimacy. The pictures will be published anonymously and participants should familiarize themselves with the concept beforehand. The photos will be taken in an intimate atmosphere in the Paderborn City Museum. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 12 people.

Sun, 27.10.: Talk & Finissage: We will talk about body & art and society.
