Heavy rhythms and driving guitars, embedded in dark, atmospheric soundscapes of reverb, repeatedly punctuated by dynamic, raw vocals.
Lyrically, New Normal grapples with inner conflicts, always seeking catharsis between quiet and loud, swirling riffs and a heavy bassline.
The four-piece band has released two EPs to date, which musically straddle the line between post-rock and post-metal while also frequently showcasing influences from stoner and post-hardcore.


OF DUST AND NATIONS

Cheesy choruses, low-tuned breakdowns, 8-bit breaks, high-energy prog-rock, and the occasional hyperactive solo—Of Dust and Nations have been taking the stage with this mix for over 10 years. With three albums and two EPs under their belt, the progressive/alternative rock trio from Dresden has forged a sound all its own, impressively combining goosebumps and neck cramps with catchy melodies.


CHESTNUT WEEPER
[Post-Punk, Dresden] 

A raw skeletal framework, in a no-bullshit lineup (vocals/bass, guitar, drums), fires projectiles into the night that are as sensitive as they are cutting. Breakbeats or soft brushstrokes—all in lockstep with a guitar tuned to knee-deep pitch, over which a fragile vocal confesses its stories.
