While summer is slowly knocking on the door, we're already bringing the right warmth to the dancefloor at NICE UP! on 06.06. and bringing you a night full of dancehall, reggae, afrobeats and reggaeton. This time we're celebrating a very special and long-awaited reunion: DJ Nassair, co-founder of the party and someone who knows what NICE UP! sounds like from the very beginning. With a unique mix of reggae, dancehall, afrobeats and hip hop, DJ NasAir has been part of the urban sound system scene in the Ruhr region for years. The Dortmund DJ impresses with his energetic sets, authentic selection and a sure instinct for the perfect vibe between old school classics and current club tunes - international Caribbean energy straight to the dancefloor.
For years, the Blockbuster Soundsystem has stood for exactly the sound that makes the Grossmarktschänke shake - powerful bass, honest selection and a feeling for the right moment. Together they create a flow of energy, lightness and pure dance feeling.
