What do cookies, bicycle bells and an out-of-control giant alarm clock have in common? That's right! They were all chosen by the band NICHTE as motifs worth singing about. The female duo from Regensburg (Luisa Eberth) and Murnau (Claudia Zormeier) turn and shake up our society's entrenched ways of thinking with their captivating sound. With charm, sensitivity and a finely tuned dose of self-irony, they wrap their lyrics in catchy pop songs and impress with their stunning vocal power and a powerful live band on stage.

It would be their home sound if they were from Bristol. But they are well-seasoned and mature musicians from Murnauer Moos, who were once a school band in the 90s and can be heard in the Westtorhalle again after many years. The basis of their repertoire is sometimes melancholic trip-hop, flanked by almost pathetic lines that never allow the quartet to drift into kitsch.
