Soul&Funk!

With a varied mixture of soul, funk and blues, Night Cruise takes the audience on a journey through the night. The trip includes Wilson Pickett, the Commitments, Sam & Dave, Joe Cocker, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Doobie Brothers and many more. In addition to the classic destinations, the band also travels to lesser-known islands, so that everyone ends up on the high seas!

The band's trademark is the expressive and distinctive vocals of Heiko Wienesen, who is not only supported in the background by the concentrated female power of Doro Conrad and Gaby Seggelke. Both singers also demonstrate their skills as soloists. Frank Gerhardt on bass and Cay Hansen on drums, who provide the groove, are the backbone of the band, which first came together back in 2011. The guitars are played by "funky" Bernd Sunnus and Rolf Seggelke with a particular penchant for bluesy sounds, both of whom have many years of band experience. Together with Michal Przybysz on keyboards, they not only contribute the harmonic foundation to the songs, but also provide variety with solo interludes. This also applies to Gerhard Ludolph on saxophone and Serghei Ivanov on trumpet, who give the soul the push from behind that this music needs. The audience is not kept on their seats for long...
