Culturalphenomenon! The Night of the Proms can rightly lay claim to this title. The musical spectacle is unique in many respects. It merges, in equal parts, two styles long considered incompatible: E- and U-Music!

A large symphony orchestra including choir plays the classical hits and accompanies - together with a rock band! - also accompanies the pop star guests. The seamless bridging of popular classical music to pop classics is accompanied by such lively enthusiasm on the part of the audience as can hardly be experienced in any other concert.

In the individual countries, special guests/national musical celebrities join in. And every year a classical instrument or young exceptional artist is given special consideration. The Night of the Proms organizers' flair for talent is demonstrated, for example, by the fact that they presented tenor Andrea Bocelli live for the first time in 1995!

The Night of the Proms offers entertainment at the highest level in a grandiose concert sound. Word gets around. As a survey showed, 85 percent of the audience come again and then bring their relatives, friends or colleagues!

The Night of the Proms is a unique music event in Europe. Since 1994, the show has been delighting a steadily growing fan base in Germany. Here, classical meets pop, aria meets chart hit, suit meets leather jacket, stilettos meet Chucks and Tchaikovsky meets Boy George.

Like no other event, the Night of the Proms stands for bridging all musical genres. It is precisely this mixture that sets it apart from all other concerts and gives it an incomparable experience. The fact that every year many of the more than 100,000 people secure tickets for the shows in advance without knowing which star guests await them is an expression of the fans' trust in the quality of the shows, which has grown over the years and has been confirmed time and again.

One of the guarantors of this is the 75-member Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Alexandra Arrieche, which has accompanied the series of events from the very beginning and oscillates between the various musical styles and epochs with incredible enthusiasm and brilliance. And the "house band" of the Proms, the NOTP Backbones, also stands as a reliable figure for the Proms seal of approval. Finally, a stunning light and projection design and a first-class sound make the Night of the Proms an unforgettable audiovisual music happening.
