The cult comedy show from the laundromat turns 25 and celebrates its birthday!

The German Comedy Award-winning stand-up comedy format has been presenting well-known comedians and comediennes as well as the latest talents on the comedy scene live on stage for a quarter of a century.

Today's stars and starlets such as Felix Lobrecht, Özcan Cosar, Chris Tall, Tahnee, Bastian Bielendorfer, Enissa Amani, Olaf Schubert, Bülent Ceylan, Torsten Sträter, Markus Krebs, Simon Stäblein, Maria Clara Groppler, Osan Yaran, Tutty Tran, Nico Stank, Negah Amiri, Carl Josef and many more made their first stage appearances in the legendary cult comedy launderette.

The cult format is celebrating its birthday one year on and is presenting a birthday show that's really something! NightWash brings the best stand-up comedy from hip comedians, upcoming stars and talented newcomers to the stage with the very best audience. Every show is unique!

Ben Schafmeister

Ben Schafmeister smart, authentic. At the age of 24, Ben makes jokes and writes songs about being different, getting older and the question of the meaning behind everything. Whether driving a cab with Tourette's, knocking out mothers-in-law or being blocked on Tinder... NightWash Talent Award finalist Ben Schafmeister is the new host of the NightWash web shows and will also present many live shows on tour of the cult format. Ben combines black humor with razor-sharp timing, unique charm and responsive audience interaction. And stays in your head. He plays with topics such as his illness, Tourette's syndrome, life as a single man and the feeling of getting older. 24 years old. 12 of them on stage. Whether with music and self-written songs or comedy: it's already clear that Ben belongs on stage.

Sandra Sprünken

Hello, I'm Sandra Sprünken. Often just called Sprünky. I'm an improv comedian. I've been on stage for the improv theater Springmaus for nine years. You may have heard me on my podcast "1a B-Ware" or as an editor/guest on Bratwurst und Baklava. You may know my irritated face from 1LIVE "Wie Geht!?". I also host a lot of events. Preferably live - but also online since Corona. I'm a trained musical performer - and yes, I can do the splits! I prove it regularly in the improv show It's my Musical.

Marcel Mann

Marcel Mann, who also won the "Quatsch Comedy Club" talent contest in 2015, is the voice actor among German comedians. "The Voice of Comedy", so to speak. The face is new, but his voice has been heard on television and in the movies for years. Unfortunately, he usually dies tragically at work. Marcel tells us about this and other curiosities from his life on the soundtrack in a fast-paced and powerful voice. But one question remains: how on earth do we know the voice? The answer is live.

Fabian Lampert

Fabian is a stand-up comedy newcomer. He's half the age of Mario Barth, but twice as funny. Fabian is passionate about entertaining his audience and you can tell by his energy, passion and finely crafted jokes. The other day he even overheard his grandmother saying to the neighbor: "That boy is going to be big!" it was clear: he is well on the way to turning his dream of becoming a comedian into reality!

NightWash is the cult comedy show from the laundromat!

The show format, which won the German Comedy Award for "Best Stand-Up Show", has been taking place regularly in a launderette in Cologne for almost 25 years and is successful throughout Germany with over 150 dates on a major live tour. The show takes place once a month in the launderette and in parallel as a livestream on MYSPASS.
