NixNoies

NixNoies - or "Nothing New" in translation - is the solo project of Georgian musician and artist Nino Tsimakuridze, who moves musically between synth-pop, lo-fi and independent music. The arrangement was written exclusively for the 3-octave Yamaha synthesizer. Fictitious relationships that move between reality and illusion form the basis of her lyrics. Out of the perceived necessity of a melancholy world, she traces the longing for direct and real relationships. Harmonic transitions and dissonant sounds drive us listeners back and forth between security and discomfort and want to atmospherically transport us into an intermediate world. High, sometimes dissonant synth sounds and soft, melodic vocals balance each other out and create a togetherness in which everyone can hope and dream for the end.
