NOL & Max Paul | Feierabendkonzert: Ab in Onkel Oskars Garten
In the organizer's words:
Summer Fun at Esslingen’s Merkelpark! ☀️ Summer is just around the corner—and we can’t wait to bring the beautiful, historic Merkelpark back to life! Look forward to a colorful series of events from mid-June through September! Instead of just one weekend, this year we’re celebrating summer flexibly and rain or shine, whenever the pop-up bar “fuenfbisneun” is open: Starting July 12, the Feierabendkollektiv will be performing at Merkelpark every Sunday from 5–7 p.m. with the finest summer singer-songwriter concerts. You can look forward to a diverse program in a relaxed park atmosphere.
This time:
NOL
Benni Nolle, part of the Stuttgart indie duo “Kids of Adelaide,” is coming to Onkel Oskar’s garden with his solo project NOL. With thoughtful melancholy and a clear perspective, NOL presents both personal songs and carefully selected covers. He explores the diversity of human experience—honest, intimate, and always seasoned with a good dose of humor. Because: “A good laugh is still the best answer to the depressing weight of the world.”
Max Paul
Max Paul is 27 years old and has been performing on stage for over fifteen years. Starting out as a soloist in the choir of a school musical, his path as a singer-songwriter has led him to larger stages and ultimately to his current solo program featuring piano and guitar, as well as various band projects—including serving as bassist and keyboardist for the Kids of Adelaide in his hometown of Stuttgart. His style ranges from complex to catchy, from hopeful melancholy to cheeky self-deprecation. His lyrics explore relationships with the most important people in his life, concerns and hopes for the future and the present, and his relationship with himself. The diversity of his songs promises an exciting and inspiring cultural experience, filled with humor and stage presence.
The venue is Villa Merkel: Pulverwiesen 25, 73728 Esslingen am Neckar
