In the organizer's words:

"The Silk Road might feel like a distant echo of the past-but what if a noodle could be your time machine? A way to travel back on a journey that stretched across centuries."

On May 22nd, I invite you to step into the Dahai Noodle Theater. It's not a performance, but an immersive experience-a story told through hands and flour. We depart from the twilight of Berlin, heading eastward.

This is a bold experiment-an attempt to manifest four distinct hand-pulling techniques in one single sitting: Stretch, Pull, Tear, and Hang. These are more than culinary methods; they are the living, flowing history of the Silk Road.

Join me at Dot Tea Bar. Let's share a warm bowl of Eight Treasures Tea, and soothe that deep sense of wanderlust (a longing for far-off places) together.

About the Concept:

In 2023, Dahai traveled the Silk Road from Berlin to Foshan, China, mastering the ancient art of noodle-pulling along the way. Since 2024, he has hosted workshops in Berlin, inviting people to feel the dough with their own hands. Now, in 2026, this journey has evolved into the Noodle Theater-a form to tell the complete story of the thread that connects us all.
