Hossein Gaedhi Bardeh plays traditional Persian and Syrian songs on the "Ney Anban" - a special instrument with a long tradition. "Ney" is the name given to the two sound tubes made of reeds, "Anban" means reservoir: the air is stored in it so that it can be played continuously for a long time.
The Ney Anban is also used for medicinal purposes, especially in port cities, and is often played at weddings.
For Hossein, music is much more than a hobby - it accompanies and strengthens him both in his everyday working life as a truck driver and in his private life in a therapeutic way. He first learned to play at home and later developed it further at a music school.

Abdel Latif Fawaz will also be serving soul food: buckwheat crepes with savory and sweet toppings - all homemade.
