Normal - Eine Besichtigung des Wahns

“Normal” is anyone who is healthy and able to work. The path from self-optimization to eugenics is shorter than the treadmill at the gym: both instrumentally rational and murderously delusional. And everyone celebrates the “normal” person—the simple, hardworking individual who has been betrayed by intellectuals, lifestyle-oriented leftists, and elites—which serves only the cynical purpose of perpetuating the social status of the subalterns. In general, the “normality” that is promised in every crisis as something to be swiftly restored is a bleak hope. For the “normal” state—“that things will continue as they are”—is the real catastrophe.
