In this poetic "Schreibtheater", every note tells a story and every silence carries weight. A street singer chooses to sing - no matter what. With each penstroke, the paper becomes the stage.

Born in Istanbul, İpek Seyalıoğlu is currently based in Berlin working as a full time freelance artist. Her work spans poetry, theater, film, and translation, with publications and performances in Turkey and Europe. Her solo performance "Notes on the Tip of My Tongue" premiered in 2023 at t.a.k Theater, where she developed her hybrid performance form "Theater of Poetry" or "Schreibtheater" merging live writing and acting during her Weltoffenes Berlin Art Fellowship. Her second play "Mourning Cotton Flowers: An X-Berg Poem", funded by Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Culture Funds, premiered in t.a.k Theater in 2025. She did her first showing of her latest theater performance "Letter for Mom" at PAS also in 2025. She received an Arbeitsstipendium für nichtdeutschsprachige Literatur (the Literature Workscholarship for non-German Literature) with her poetry in Turkish in 2025.
