The North German School Music Students' Orchestra (NSMO) is making its first guest appearance at the Pavillon Hannover as part of this year's concert series to mark the end of the work phase. As unwieldy as its name is, its aim is simple: to unite students from the five North German music academies in one orchestra and promote a vibrant musical life in North Germany in the long term. With the German Music Council as a partner, the NSMO has performed in recent years in venues such as the Sendesaal Bremen and the Laeiszhalle, winning over audiences with its sensitive ensemble playing and immense enthusiasm.
This year, under the direction of Florian Herkenrath, the NSMO invites you to a varied concert with pieces by Wagner, Bizet and Dvorak. Program: Richard Wagner: Overture to The Flying Dutchman Georges Bizet: Excerpts from the two Carmen Suites Antonin Dvorak: Symphony No. 7
