When Valentina wants to create a pond in her new allotment garden, she digs up the previous owner of her plot - murdered. There is no shortage of suspects for the crime. Fortunately, Valentina receives support from her best friend Barbara and her elderly neighbor Friedl. The three amateur investigators prove to be true allotment sherlocks. But the second murder is not long in coming.
Quirky, original and mercilessly black-humored, Munich author Martina Pahr takes on the fascinating microcosm of allotment gardens in her crime thriller: This is where people meet who could not be more different and who would most likely have no points of contact in life away from the allotment. But the garden colony brings them all together.
Martina Pahr, born in 1968, lives from writing and in Munich - and loves both. She is chairwoman of the Bavarian regional group of Mörderische Schwestern e.V., performs enthusiastically on reading stages and runs the ABGEBRÜHTe comedy series in Munich.
