The Trempelmarkt is a paradise for antique lovers and bargain hunters. Dealers offer their treasures in around 600 designated areas and attract up to 200,000 visitors to the alleyways of the old town. In addition to professional traders, there are many private junk dealers presenting everything from rarities to graffiti. The market takes place on Friday from 4 pm to midnight and on Saturday from 7 am to 8 pm.

There are two separate areas for children and young people in the Schmuckhof and on Fünferplatz. There, the little ones can sell toys and clothes on one square meter each without registering.
