In the organizer's words:

A mysterious Christmas Eve, a glowing Christmas tree and a gift that will change Clara's world forever - so begins one of those nights that are only possible in fairy tales.

On this wondrous Christmas night, the Nutcracker and the Mouse King suddenly come to life. Toys begin to whisper, snowflakes dance through the room and a battle between mice and tin soldiers breaks out right before Clara's eyes. Dreams become tangible, magic is in the air.

Actor and narrator Stefan Vitelariu guides us through this fairytale journey with his warm narrative voice, accompanied by Tchaikovsky's immortal music, played four-handed on the piano by Aleksandra Masurkevich and Olga Dörr, carrying the audience right into the magical world of fantasy and memories.

The art fairy tale "Nutcracker and Mouse King" takes us into the dream world of the girl Marie Stahlbaum - a story that has touched young and old for generations. Tchaikovsky's music, based on Alexandre Dumas' version of the story, forms the basis for one of the world's most famous ballets.

This production brings the magic of Christmas to life in a special way: poetic, musical, fairytale-like and full of warmth.
