Foto Meyer x Sony - Surf-Action Workshops bei den o2 SURF MASTERS 2026

On April 25, 2026, Wellenwerk Berlin will be transformed into a hotspot for adrenaline, style and urban surf culture. The o2 SURF MASTERS will bring Germany's best rapid surfers to the waves - and you'll have the chance not just to watch, but to capture the action yourself.

The surf action workshops immerse you in the heart of the competition: From the qualifying runs, through intense knockout rounds to the grand finale - each phase offers new perspectives, moves and moments just waiting for you to capture them. No staged scenes, just real competition atmosphere, action and emotion.

After a compact theoretical input, it's straight into practice. You can test different perspectives and play with timing, movement and image composition. Every wave, every movement and every moment offers new opportunities for unique shots.

Whether you are just starting out in action and sports photography or already have experience - here you will find the ideal space to sharpen your eye and implement creative ideas. Beginners get an introduction to technique, composition and dynamics, while advanced photographers can experiment with perspective, image composition and storytelling.

As part of the Female Photography Days, you can also look forward to two exclusive workshops just for women. You can network, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives together.

No gear? No problem. You don't need to bring your own equipment. Sony cameras and lenses are available for you to borrow, so you can concentrate fully on the action. Just bring a memory card and get started.

Participation in the workshop costs €20. This amount can be fully credited to your next purchase at Foto Meyer until July 31, 2026.
